Mobile News Regatta 2008 : 1st – 2nd July 2008

The Mobile News Regatta 2008 will be the 2nd staging of the regatta, the only regatta held specifically for the UK mobile telecoms trade channel.

Two days of yacht racing offer formidable opportunities for networking, team-building, and cultivating business relationships. Participants are likely to remember for the rest of their lives how they crewed a racing Beneteau yacht.

Imagine the branding kudos of sailing a 40.7 Beneteau yacht, emblazoned with your organisation’s logo (complete with matching crew clothing of course), past your rivals and potential customers. The Mobile News Regatta will be reported extensively in both Mobile News and its sister title Fone, generating valuable PR and publicity spin-offs including pictures of prize-giving ceremony and the racing.

People arrive as a disparate group of individuals and leave as a close-knit group. Aquasports Yachtings’s professional skippers will allocate sailing tasks and motivate the crew into working as a unit. The adrenalin and excitement of the racing does the rest!
