The Beneteau Cup 2008 - 15th - 17th August 2008

We have three boats available for the Beneteau Cup which is the largest regatta for Beneteau`s in the UK taking place in Cowes. Nearly 100 yachts compete at every level, from the family fun of a treasure hunt to the cut and thrust of the Class A IRC fleet racing. The regatta has a full programme of racing, combined with a superb programme of entertainment. There are four races in total, two on Friday and Saturday and then a Pursuit race on Sunday.

9.00 Depart for Cowes

1130 Treasure hunt briefing for class D

1200 Registration desk closes

1300 First warning signal for classes A, B and C

1700 - 1800 Ancasta tea party at Royal Corinthian Yacht Club. A fabulous array of cakes and gallons of tea on the lawn.

2000 - 0000 The Reeds Nautical Online Almanacs "Caribbean" Buffet supper, drinks reception and dancing at Royal Corinthian Yacht Club. A gourmet supper and dancing and a few competitions and surprises. Wear your loudest flowery shirt! £22 per ticket.

0930 First Warning Signal for all Classes

1930 for 2000
The Spectacular "Top of the Pops" themed gala dinner at Cowes Yacht Haven. As in the past, this is the highlight of the regatta. Spectacular decoration and atmosphere, great food, wonderful fancy dress costumes and live music. The day's prizegiving will take place mid-way through the party. Don't forget to apply early for your tickets because there is a LIMIT!! £35 per ticket.

Each team package includes the following:

• Beneteau 423 yacht, suitable for 7 guests or a Beneteau 40.7, suitable for up to 10 guests.
• Accommodation onboard a 423 for up to 7 guests and on a Beneteau 40.7 for up to 6 guests.
